As a person diagnosed with vitiligo I try to find ways to represent this condition not many people are familiar with. I love making portraits in 3d so as a unique selling point all my models have vitligo. For the socials I also made a 'making of' video (see the video's on the right). Vitiligo is a skin condition where the body's own immune system destroys the melanocytes (pigment-producing cells), resulting in milky white or pale patches on the skin. It's often considered an autoimmune disease, possibly with a genetic component, and can be triggered by factors like stress or sunburn.
