My first (of many hopefully) time making stage visuals for an artist. This time upcoming artist from Amsterdam Ruskey. Ruskey asked me to make a couple visuals he could display on the screen behind him during his concert in Paradiso.
The idea of ’shawty’ was a wall filled with neon lights. First I created the whole layout in Illustrator which I then imported into Blender to make it 3d and animate the light show. The process of making it was very fun, unfortunately I couldn’t see it with my own eyes because it was my birthday so I couldn’t make it. Next time!
